Mr. Escobar has over 40 years of experience in the retail sectors related to food, construction, finished materials and pharmaceuticals in various cities throughout the country. Before working as General Manager of Locatel since 2004, Mr. Escobar held the presidency of various companies, such as Productos Ramo, Cativen, Comercializadora Magali, Ico Pinturas and Acegrasas-Fagrave. He has participated in various industry, business and community interest boards, such as Andi Nacional y Seccional, Committee of Cafeteros de Caldas, CHEC, Chamber of Commerce of Manizales, Once Caldas Athletic Corporation, Tejidos Unica, Caldas Bank and Financial Corporation of Caldas. Since 2010, he has also participated in the Board of Directors of Locatel Master Colombia, Locatel Colombia, Galaxia Médica Colombia, Locatel Group-Plenia Mexico, Ramo Products, Constructora, Cámara Colombo Venezolana, HCT and FENALCO Bogotá.

Throughout his career, hr has been distinguished as one of the ten best young executives of Colombia, best executive of Caldas, Society of public improvements of Manizales, Society of public improvements of Villamaría, Communitty of Arboleda Caldas and Athletic Merit Pyramid Coldeportes. Mr. Escobar is a business administrator from EAFIT University.
