The Colombian Association of Private Equity Funds (“ColCapital”) recognized MAS Equity Partners for its Value Generation in TGT Gamas, a leading oil services company specialized in continuous registration of fossil fuels.

The value creation strategy was constructed in three stages. The first stage consisted in reaching immediate objectives. MEP focused its efforts on implementing a corporate governance model, reviewing critical processes such as budgets, billing, inventory control and logistics, and creating committees to accelerate the decision processes. The second and third stages considered longer-term objectives that were aligned with the new Company’s vision and mission. MEP revised the organizational structure and commercial policies and revised the functions and responsibilities of each position in order to strengthen the commitment, motivation and productivity of the personnel. Furthermore, the company developed new clients and industries, such as mining, diversifying the commercial portfolio, which helped the Company to overcome the 2015/2016 sector crisis.

Today, TGT Gamas is leader in its segment, with 40% market share and an unblemished reputation for its service quality which are performed under the highest standards of operation and safety.
