Founding partner of MAS Equity Partners. He was an early promoter of the private equity industry in Colombia, and was one of the founders of the Colombian Private Equity Association - ColCapital, which he chaired for the first period (2012-2014). Member of the board of TGT Gamas (oil and gas services).

More than 20 years of experience in private equity in emerging markets, mainly in Latin America, with leading international firms like AIG Global Investments Group, HSBC Group, and Advent International/Banco Galicia. He held investment and administration responsibility over more than US$1.2 billion worth of investments in more than 40 companies throughout Latin America, primarily in energy, transportation, retail and telecom. He has been member and Chairman of several boards of directors and board committees in leading companies in diverse industries.

He served as Principal Advisor to the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC) for the development of the PE industry in Colombia, Principal Advisor to the Colombian Development Bank (Bancóldex) for the design and setup of its private equity division, and Senior Advisor to SEAF Colombia for its first private equity fund in Colombia.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires, and Masters in Finance with specialization in Corporate Governance from Universidad del CEMA, in Argentina.
