MEP creates new restaurant leader with Grupo IGA

A new business group is consolidated in the gastronomic sector. It is the IGA Group, which arises from the union of Inmaculada Guadalupe and Amigos en Cía., The company that owns the Andrés Carne de Res brand, and the Conboca Group, operator, among other brands, of Kokoriko and Mimo's ice cream.

The integration was consolidated on March 17, under the corporate name Grupo IGA. As he explained, the purpose of this business operation is to strengthen its position in the market and optimize its organizational structure. As a result of the integration, the new IGA Group has around 4,500 employees and more than 290 points of sale, present in more than 43 cities in the country.

"We started writing a new chapter in the successful business history of Andrés Carne de Res, Kokoriko and Mimo's, now under the IGA Group, a story that has been built thanks to the work and commitment of all our collaborators and the recognition of all our clients" , said Felipe Baptiste, CEO of the Group, when referring to the size of the business.
